Week 4

Today I saw an 8 year old boy with mega amounts of calculus. He didn't have any cavities though, which was good. Then I helped Maryanne do sealents on his younger brother. The whole family came in and they were really great. In the afternoon I saw a young woman named Shelli. She didn't have a spic of calculus on her!!! It was the easiest 1B I have ever done. She couldn't have x-rays though, because she is trying to get pregnant.

Thank you so much for helping me place those sealants! I learn so much from working with you. I loved how you showed him what the blue stuff was and that the pink stuff turned white after being under a special light! I am going to copy you! I will be sending you royalty checks! See you in the morning!

Hi Melissa. Just thought I would stop by. Hope you are having fun being a 2nd year. And...oh ya...please enlighten me...why can't you take x-rays on someone who is "trying to get pregnant?" Is it because she didn't know if she was? I bet WSU is SO different this year. Later.

Katie-
I have no earthly clue why I couldn't take x-rays on her. I would think the one person who knows their health history better than anyone would be the patient, but...maybe they know that I am in dire need of x-rays. It's a conspiracy against me!!!
